Warner Enhanced Option School is proud to serve our community's ELL students. As an enhanced option school, we are able to provide smaller class settings and more instructional time for our students resulting in an excellent environment for our English Language Learners.

Our English Language Learners may speak one or more languages other than English at home. Warner Enhanced Option allows these students to be placed in classrooms with teachers who are trained to help them develop both social and academic language. These classrooms provide a safe and secure environment where Limited English Proficient students attain English proficiency in all areas of language. This enables our LEP students to achieve high levels of academic achievement consistent with the standards of their peers. As a result, our students receive the skills needed to succeed in our culturally diverse community.

In addition we are pleased to have a full time translator, Madina Hussein, working with us. Madina is a product of Metro Schools and works very closely with our Somali community. Madina’s presence helps our parents feel welcome and aware of all the wonderful things happening at Warner Enhanced Option.
